thank you this article will be informative and helpful, to our friends as well. i married late, it will be 5 years this july, my husbands 2nd marriage he is turning 50 this year and i myself am turning 41! we hope not to see this path, we also read alot of self help books, and will ck these out too. i know it is a path that no one chooses lightly and hope also that they get help for themselves, it is not something you can do by yourself.

Divorce happens and at times is beyond your control for whatever reason. It is just such a stressful period in a person's life. No one should have to go it alone. Support is out there. People need to know it is available and use it.
Most importantly is to really love yourself when going through tough times. When my kids are struggling, I try to give them a little extra attention, a little more lovin'. When I find myself struggling I say, "What the heck I need some extra lovin' right now and do something nice for myself." Give yourself a hug today.
